People want to know the first time I showed in the UK. I was in Scotland in 1992 but my first one person gallery exhibition that I had was at the Colville Gallery in London. I was in London as well for the PMA EUROPE 1999. I was there to give lectures on my work and was there with my good friend and photographer Monte Zucker. The gallery was absolutely packed with people and it was one of the most significant exhibitions I have had in Europe to date. There were works from the 90s as well as several important works from the 80s. At that time, Europe was just starting to feel comfortable with Digital Works as in the past they were somewhat skeptical. Slowly here and there Digital Art shows appeared. Of course there were shows like Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria but I am talking about galleries that actually showed Digital Art. Im sure there are European Digital Artists that could elaborate far more than I can on the European scene. As time has gone on, it is now the installation of multimedia projectors, that is in vogue. Things do come around full circle.
